A Trio based in Eugene, Oregon, Amish Love Child
performs alternative music for the working class. The
band is comprised of Troy Krusenstjerna on lead vocals
and guitar, Tony Gilchriest on bass and vocals and Mac
Hines on drums and vocals. A quirky, dynamic
songwriter, Krusenstjerna’s music marries the pop
asthetic of the British invasion with the attitudes
and eccentricities of late seventies punk/new wave
tempered by a healthy dose of roots country. Modern
and relevant, Troy’s lyrics range from the absurdity
of Walmart makovers to the stress of living paycheck
to paycheck to the longing for love from a barstool.

“Amish Love Child” ALC’s debut record contains twelve
Krusenstjerna originals including the optimistic
“Things,” the blistering “I Don’t Wanna Work,” the
working man’s anthem “Paycheck to Paycheck,” along
with other fan favorites “Cell Phone,” “PBR Vacation,”
and “Snidely Whiplash.” The CD contains a 16 page
booklet with photography and artwork by Troy
Krusenstjerna, a Fine Arts graduate from the
University of Oregon.

"ALC rocks. And rolls. And jumps. And hits it. They
are the culmination of post-pop punk-a-billy alt
rock-" Shawn Lingo

why the CD is destined to be a classic.
